Coach Itu Academy (CIA)., was established in 2009 with the purpose of talent-nurturing, talent-finding and self-actualisation for youth who find it difficult to complete certain tasks which may require their talents, known and unknown. It is not only academically focused, but it seeks to drive the youth, and adults at some stages, to become better and stronger in the different disciplines under which they may fall. These may include public speaking and Debating.

CIA was established by a passionate life coach, public speaking coach and consultant, drama coach, debating coach, international debating chief adjudicator, youth mentor and developer, leadership and life-long teacher. With over 15 years’ experience, the company has grown to attract individuals, parents and schools in Johannesburg and Cape Town in areas of Debate, Public Speaking, Dramatic Arts, Leadership and Life Coaching.

Since 2010, the Coach Itu Academy has exposed more than 50 young South African youth to leadership, speech and debate competitions and opportunities in the USA, Turkey, Czech Republic, Thailand, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Swaziland and Tanzania. The academy boasts of internationally ranked speakers and champions, including Eurasian Schools’ Debating Championships, New York’s Model United Nations, Tanzania’s Zanzibar Open and the continent’s Orate Africa and Pan-African Schools’ Debating Championships.
